Liberals Using Abortion Again

The liberals are again using abortion as one of the ways that they claim a Republican administration is dangerous for America. The news media has been asking if people think McCain (Pro-Life) is going to be hurt by choosing for a VP candidate someone that is Anti-Life, such as Joe Lieberman or Tom Ridge.

Roe v Wade was settled in the Supreme Court on January 22, 1973. Every four years, it becomes one of the topics in the Presidential race. Since 1973, we’ve had 3 years of Republican (Nixon then Ford), 4 years of Democrat (Jimmy Carter), 12 years of Republican (Reagan then Bush 41), 8 years of Democrat (Bill Clinton), and 8 years of Republican (Bush 43). That’s 23 years of Republicans and 12 years of Democrats.

In all of those 23 years of Republicans in the White House, nothing has changed regarding Roe v Wade.

What this tells me is that the Democrats complaining about what will happen under Republican rule is an emotional scare that never comes true. The Republicans have been in the White House nearly two times longer than the Democrats and nothing has changed. Yet the liberal media and the liberals themselves keep trying to use this as a scare tactic.

I welcome your comments.

As you know, children read this blog. MY children read this blog. So when someone uses vulgar language, I remove it. I don't edit their posts, I just remove the entire post. Anyone is welcome to post on this blog, but if they demonstrate their lack of vocabulary range by using vulgar words, I will remove them.

I am interested in all points of view and I think most of us that read this are, but I will not tolerate foul languge. The person that posted that comment is welcome to post again, but speak like you're speaking to a lady or a child. If that is how you speak to women or a child, then I feel sorry for your lack of upbringing.

Thank you,

Brett

Spare me.

Again, the Republicans made this issue during the Saddleback debates with Rick Warren, not the Democrats or liberals.

Not to mention the terrorists acts perpetrated against family planning clinics on an almost daily basis.

Conservatives have made it an issue. Liberals just want you to keep your grubby paws off their body.

Also, spare me your faux outrage.

From the NYTimes dated Dec. 2007 (that would be 8 months ago):

"A study issued last year by the Feminist Majority Foundation, which monitors attacks on abortion clinics, concluded that the most serious anti-abortion violence had declined since 1994, when federal legislation gave greater protection to providers and patients. According to the report, 18 percent of clinics experienced severe violence in 2005, compared with 52 percent in 1994."

Here's the link. http://www.nytimes.com/2007/12/28/us/28albuquerque.html

In nine years, attacks on anti life clinics have dropped from 52% to 18%. That really doesn't sound like "on an almost daily basis".

More scare tactics from the left.

Only after greater federal protections were given to providers and patients, something that wouldn't have occurred if Liberals weren't "using abortion again."

Again, keep your grubby paws off our bodies.

May I please ask you a question?

Do you believe we should legalize prositution?

Anonymous said...

Mary, are you against the free market?

ka_dargo,

Just asking you a question, I did not tell you what I think.

Do you believe we should legalize prositution?

Anonymous said...

I was also, just asking a question.

In answer to yours, yes, we should. Why do you ask?

Well ka_dargo,

My hat off to you. At least on this issue you are intellectually honest. I do not mean to say that on others you are not because I do not know were you stand.

I speak to many who say that they are for abortion because a woman should be able to do with her body as she wishes.

But then they are against the legalization of prositution, thus not allowing a woman to do with her body as she wishes.

Thus not intellectually honest.

Who said prostitution was only for women?
