The Amazing Hillary: It's not the People Stupid

Politicians like to say that they are “serving” the people that elect them. But it’s never about their desire to serve. It’s about their ego. Making a name for themselves and a legacy that will last long after they are gone.

We all know this and complain about it and it will likely never change. Their first priority is themselves and if it happens to work out good for the people they represent it just turns into a coincidence that they can use to get themselves elected again next time around. Honesty is never a consideration.

We are now getting two more examples thrown in our faces again and likely to have it thrown at us several more times over the coming months by an old hand at this deception. Hillary Clinton.

The first example, also includes President Barack Obama. On September 11, 2012, Hillary Clinton, then Secretary of State received a telephone call from President Obama.

She received a call from Obama at 10:00 that night. She already knew that the Ambassador to Libya, Christopher Stevens, had been killed and a communications operator was also dead. She also knew it was a coordinated terrorist attack. Since it happened on the 11^th anniversary of the attack on this country, September 11, 2001, it wasn’t hard to figure out.

Obama had been campaigning and repeating in his speeches that al queda was on the run and Osama bin Laden was no more. Al queda is on the path to defeat, and various other lines with that theme.

But the night of the attack in Benghazi, Obama placed a call to Hillary and told her that he wanted her to come out and say that it was a spontaneous demonstration due to a video berating the Prophet Muhammad.

To Hillary’s credit, she apparently told the President that the story wouldn’t be credible especially since this was happening on the anniversary of the 2001 attack. Obama stuck to his plan and said he needed her to come out with that story. With just a few weeks to go to the election it was important that that be the story.

Hillary called her husband and apparently he was surprised that was the story the President was going to use, but then again, he wasn’t because Obama doesn’t want any terrorist attacks being on his watch. Bill Clinton and Hillary considered Hillary resigning as Secretary of State.

But they decided against Hillary resigning. Not because she could clean up the mess when it blew up in the Presidents face. Not to come up with some reasoning for an inaccurate story being put out.

The reason she didn’t resign was because if she did, and it hurt Obama in the election a few weeks later, the Democrats would hold it against her and it would hurt her chances to run in 2016. The truth was not an option for her because it could hurt Obama’s chances for re-election in November, and hurt her chances in 2016.

The second example of Hillary making decisions based on what she wants rather than what’s best for the country has to do with her health.

Hillary has had a problem with fainting spells. More than we were aware in the past. One of those falls, she broke an elbow. The fainting spell she had that led to her being away from her office for an extended period was apparently worse than the American people were told. This happened in December 2012. We were told she fell at home. Now it’s said she actually fainted in her office in Washington D.C. She went to the hospital and when Bill Clinton showed up, he had her moved to a hospital in New York.

Hillary gets blood clots and this one apparently was between her brain and skull. Clotting in the brain can lead to strokes according to doctors.

She was also found to have a thyroid condition according to sources and her fainting spells also was an indication of a heart condition. Following these tests in the hospital before they released her, they apparently told Bill Clinton that she will have to be monitored closely for the rest of her life.

Should Hillary run for President in 2016, and get the nomination, the most important part of her campaign following the nomination will not be what she will do during her Presidency if she were to win, but it will be whom she chooses as her Vice President.

The right thing would be for her not to run for President, but since what’s right for the American people is never a consideration, the American people should place much more importance on her choice for a running mate because if Hillary is elected and these stories are right, that VP could become the next President in very short order.

Lest you think that I’m only thinking of Democrats as running for dishonest reasons, consider this. The Republicans are just as guilty in their actions and intentions as the Democrats.

There are many reasons that are viable for impeachment proceedings to begin against Obama. But Republicans in the House, where it should start, won’t go near it because they think it will make them look bad to the American people and they might lose their next election if they start moving towards impeachment. Their JOB, their RESPONSIBILITY is to the country, not their own re-elections or personal approvals. I find it very hard to trust a politician that puts his re-election above doing the job they are responsible for doing.

Freedom of Speech

Congress shall make no laws respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;or abridging freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people  peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Earlier this week, Donald Sterling, owner of the L.A. Clippers basketball team apparently made some remarks to his girl friend, who is of black and Hispanic descent, which were recorded.

I am not going to repeat them here partly because they seemed to be edited, but mostly because I found what was quoted as offensive to the American people regardless of whatever context they were stated. Not just blacks, Hispanics, Asians or any other ethnic group but also because they are and should be offensive to whites, which is also an ethnic group.

There were two other events that happened this week that has brought race to the forefront once again. Cliven Bundy, the rancher in Nevada that was involved in a standoff over the government charging him grazing fees for his cattle and the Supreme Court ruling on Affirmative Action.

As you can see, I opened this with the text of the first amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America. When I see things happen, I wonder what could be done. If we assume that Donald Sterling meant what he said in the most vile way he could possibly be thinking and even if the edited quotes left out even worse comments, there is nothing that can be done to him legally for his own words and beliefs. The Consititution forbids it. I do not know if the NBA has their own rules for members of their club (the owners) regarding their speech.

Can anyone really take a man’s business from him? It’s not freedom if he’s forced out of business by organizations or government. But the American people can do something. The players can do things and without risking their livelihood. The fans can do things without affecting their desire to watch their favorite team.

Let’s start with the players. Were I one of the players for the L.A. Clippers, and asked by a reporter my thoughts of what happened, I think I might say something like “how many people in this country work for someone that they don’t like? I’m now one of them. Our team is the players on the court, the coaching staff, the front office and all of the workers from the secretaries to the mail room. Our team is just owned by someone that has no tolerance of people different from himself. The owner of the club is not a team member. He can sign my paycheck, but he doesn’t get my loyalty.” What is the owner going to do? Fire the team? Trade them all? Sell their contracts to other teams? The players will catch on with other teams. If they are traded, they’ll happily be away from that owner.

When a team wins the NBA championship, the owner is usually in the locker room for the celebration. Players could refuse to be interviewed with him. They could refuse to be seen with him. I’d be surprised if Sterling showed up for this, but imagine the players, coaches, general manager refusing to stand on the platform with the owner.

One thing a businessman does not want is to portray himself as negative. It’s not good for business. Even at the age of 80, he’s certainly not wanting to hurt his business interests and while it’s probably too late, he doesn’t want to leave a bad legacy for himself when he’s gone.

Fans could avoid going to the game and watch on television instead. What would that look like to the country to have a playoff team playing a home game with no fans in the stands? It would send a message to the owner that the players are backed but he’s not.

Fans could go the game with a person of a different skin pigmentation. Imagine a black man and a white man going to the game together. The white man wearing a black shirt and black man wearing a white shirt and everyone sitting black then white, black/white all around the arena. That sends a non violent message to the owner and shows support for the team.

While this idea might be considered racist, this could very well be a good reason for everyone that is white to color their skin black for a night at a game.

President Obama was asked about this controversy and he actually had a very good answer. He said, “When ignorant folks want to advertise their ignorance, you don't really have to do anything, you just let them talk,".

Donald Sterling and every other American in this country has the right to say as they please. They are guaranteed this right in the Constitution. But so do the rest of the American people.

There are people that will try to deface the Staple Center where the Clippers play, and they may even try destruction of property around the Center. I hope this doesn’t happen. I’d rather see Tee-shirts sold that support the players while condemning the owner of the team.

Lakers Hall of Famer Magic Johnson, a supposed target of Sterling's remarks, said he wouldn't attend Clippers' games as long as Sterling was the owner. I’d like to see him do just the opposite. I’d like to see him go to the game, and sit in the front row and before the game shake hands with the players on the court from both teams and then again after the game is over on the court.

Donald Sterling is entitled to be a moron and say bigoted things. But the American people also have the right to voice their opinion in non destructive, non violent ways to rebuff his idiocy.

American Government's Enemy? It's you!

Do you remember back in the 1980’s and 1990’s the talk of black helicopters with no markings? People that claimed they existed were thought to be paranoid conspiracy theorists. They were considered on a par with those that said they’d been taken by aliens and probed then returned home with no memory. There was even a movie about this paranoia called “Conspiracy Theory” where Mel Gibson played the part of someone that seemed to be off center mentally and had to buy the book “The Catcher in the Rye” each time he saw it.

For years, if you said anything about what the government might be doing, it was usually said to be 1984 coming true or if you were really adamant about it, you were a nut job or right wing extremist.

Along comes Ed Snowden. Snowden leaks documents showing that the American government is spying on allies and worst of all, Americans! The National Security Agency (NSA) naturally denies that they are spying on Americans. So it appears if we think the NSA is spying on us we’re part of the black helicopter conspiracy theorists.

Congressman Mike Rogers (R) from Michigan, and former FBI agent, immediately comes to the defense of the NSA and says they are not spying on American citizens. He still says it as recently as March 2014 on Meet the Press. However, the NSA finally admitted that they are indeed spying on Americans and they admitted it during 2013.

We now know that phone companies, such as AT&T, Verizon were forced to give phone records of Americans to the NSA. Internet companies such as Google, yahoo and facebook were required to give the NSA information and access to Americans. Some of those companies willingly, some through legal means.

Today, it’s reported that the navy, through the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) is collecting information on parking tickets of Americans. Over 500 million and counting.

Let’s look at some recent events. Remember Fast and Furious? Guns were given to drug cartels in Mexico. One was used to kill a border agent. Our government, who gave the guns to the cartels, can’t find them. Didn’t track them. Drug cartels are a serious threat to Americans. Some Americans along the border of Mexico have been killed. Their homes invaded. The government is charged Constitutionally with protecting our borders and Americans. Yet our government agencies charged with protecting us aren’t protecting the borders and can’t find guns that they gave to cartels with the purpose of tracking them spend their time reading transcripts of women sharing their apple pie recipe’s.

Remember Benghazi? Four American’s were killed. An ambassador and three military men in Benghazi. Our government told us that it was due to a video that nobody had seen. They sent out officials (Susan Rice) to say that it wasn’t a terrorist attack  but due to a video. Our government, who can spy on our allies and spy on Americans can’t tell the truth about an attack on our Embassy in Libya and don’t protect our citizens, our officials, and our soldiers in our Embassy, but spend their time listening to teenagers talking about their latest boyfriend/girlfriend at school.

Remember the IRS scandal where they were not allowing status to tea party organizers while approving liberal political organizers? Our government is taking sides politically against American citizens and for other citizens based on political ideology but they can listen in to conversations of Americans who are suggesting a restaurant to a friend of theirs on the phone or in E-mail or IM’s.

Remember the TSA making us go through body scanners at the airport and told that while I our genitals are able to be viewed by the screener and only the screener, those images wouldn’t be saved and not seen by anyone else. Then we find out that they are not just keeping those images but hanging them on the walls for viewing by the rest of the staff. It went so far as to have a TSA employee have his own image put out there for other co-workers to see and he was teased about it and then attacked a fellow employee over comments made about his genitalia…or lack of. I wonder how many terrorists these body scanners have caught.

Now we have parking tickets being gathered and monitored. Well, here’s a weird scenario for you. I go once a month to the county court and pay my child support. Because I have a snarky ex wife, I end up going to court about twice a year. I have to feed the parking meter each time. I spend five to ten minutes going into the courthouse, going through the metal detector and the wand and raising my pant legs up so they can see the tops of my shoes or boots. I have to remove my coat and send it through an X-Ray machine. I have to remove my wallet and send it through the X-Ray machine. Are they afraid that before someone attacks a court employee they are going to view pictures of their kids? Or maybe the technology is now out there that you can build a gun using a master card or visa.

A technical school student in Ohio is doing as he should. He’s working hard at his education. He’s decided he wants to be in the military and when he gets out he wants to be either in law enforcement or a firefighter. He’s involved in all sorts of organizations and classes to achieve his goals. He works as an EMT and needs a knife for things such as cutting a seatbelt away in traffic accidents. But because of a zero tolerance policy at school, he’s arrested and thrown in jail for thirteen days because of a knife in his vest, in his EMT kit locked in his trunk. He’s kicked out of school. He’s in very serious danger of not being accepted by the Army and not permitted to be part of law enforcement nor firefighting due to this event.

Where is the zero tolerance policy of the American government when it comes to illegal immigration? Border security to protect our borders from terrorists slipping into this country amidst the illegal aliens? Where is the zero tolerance policy in attacking our Embassies?

America is being protected from Americans but Russians can move a ship to Cuba. America can listen in to conversations between grandmother and grandson but Iran can develop a nuclear weapon and take their own naval ships to outskirts of our waters off of our own coasts.

States first pass laws allowing medical marijuana and say it’s not a way to expand it to recreational use legally, and are now passing laws to legalize marijuana for all, which has more carcinogens than cigarettes, yet if you smoke cigarettes, you’re a pariah despite cigarettes having always been legal.

Does our government really need to be told that the real threat is from terrorists and terrorist countries and our common enemies? Or do they really think that Billy Bob walking to school along dirt country roads is the real danger?

Our government is more concerned with forcing us to buy into their useless health care than they are about taking care of our borders as is their requirement. They are more concerned that some Americans may not like them so they’ll prevent us from showing ID before we vote, but they’ll inspect grandmothers in wheelchairs, grandfathers with colostomy bags, and young children before they can get on an airplane.

Our elected officials will write laws telling us what our kids can be taught, that we have to pay for others people’s deviancy despite our own beliefs, how to live, what to eat, what doctors to see, and then decide if we’re worthy enough to be kept alive if we get too sick but they don’t stop attacks on our country.  

When election time rolls around, will we get rid of the politicians that are trying to run our lives and replace them with those that believe in the common sense of the people of this country, or will we keep our heads in the sand and tell ourselves that we like our guy so we’ll leave him/her in there?

It’s not big brother that is watching us. It’s our government that is monitoring more and more details of our private lives.

There used to be line that was used a lot which was “I love my country, but I fear my government.” Don’t you wish other countries feared us enough to not attempt to attack us?

The American government apparently believes that their biggest enemy is you and I.

NFL Running Country?

The National Football League is now attempting to set laws across the nation. At issue is a bill in Arizona that will prevent business owners from being sued if they refuse to do business with homosexuals.

I’m not even going to go into detail about the law. I think it’s silly from what I know of it but that issue is not what this is about.

If Governor Brewer signs the bill into law, the NFL will apparently pull the Super Bowl out of Arizona and take it elsewhere. The Super Bowl in question is next years, in 2015. Will the NFL also not allow any team to play a game against the Arizona Cardinals in Arizona as punishment for this law? How long before they start doing this on any issue?

Have you ever walked into a store and seen “no shirt, no shoes, no service”? How long before that becomes discrimination and the NFL says they won’t play their games in any state that has that policy in even a single store?

Whether the law is a good law or a bad law it is written by the representatives of the State of Arizona. They were elected. If the people of Arizona disagree with it, it is up to them to take it up with their representatives.

In reality the NFL is doing the same thing that they are complaining about. They are refusing to participate in a state that they disagree with while complaining that the people of Arizona are deciding not to do business with a certain segment of society.

The Super Bowl is a big money maker for the city and state that the game is played. It’s also a big money maker for the NFL. It appears that Governor Brewer will veto the bill because she’d vetoed a similar bill in the past. However, it would be a big move for Governor Brewer, if she is and has been planning to veto it to stand up and say, “the NFL is not welcome in Arizona in 2015.” She could make a huge stand by saying that while the money that it would mean to the state of Arizona and it’s citizens, it is not worth being dictated to be a sports organization and rewarded only if the state does as the NFL wants. The people of Arizona are who she represents, not some organization that wants to hold their event which means a lot to many people in many ways.

I doubt that will happen but it would certainly show that Governor Brewer and the state of Arizona will not be run by people or organizations outside of the citizenship of Arizona.

I dropped AARP several years ago when they backed Obamacare despite what the membership wanted. I suppose it's time to give up professional football. It's disheartening to be held hostage by something that is popular because of their dollars.

Freedom of Religion/Speech Hanging On

In the past week we’ve heard stories about a five year old playing army at school and being suspended for pointing his hand in a way that was emulating a soldier with a weapon shooting at the enemy. We’ve also heard of a school that edited out references to  Jesus in the song “Silent Night”. The children were not allowed to say certain words during the song lest it offend non believers. Then there is the one that has generated the biggest headlines. Duck Dynasty star Phil Robertson saying that he doesn’t believe that God sanctions the gay lifestyle.

His comments appear in the January issue of Gentleman’s Quarterly (GQ). You can read the entire story at http://www.gq.com/entertainment/television/201401/duck-dynasty-phil-robertson.

I warn you up front that if you read this article, it’s laced with foul language including the “f” word on several occasions, but not by Robertson. It’s all by the writer. You also have to be careful not to take the writers words as part of what Phil Robertson believes or says. If you want Phil’s words, read the quotes. The writer put his own interpretation into things said and the environment they are in for the interview.

I have never watched the Duck Dynasty television program so I know virtually nothing of what it’s all about other than what I’ve read lately. I always thought that it was a hunting program and while I have hunted and enjoyed hunting, watching on television as people sit in a blind and whisper their tips and what they are seeing has never been a big thrill for me.

The quote that has been the center of the controversy is: “It seems like, to me, a vagina—as a man—would be more desirable than a man’s anus. That’s just me. I’m just thinking: There’s more there! She’s got more to offer. I mean, come on, dudes! You know what I’m saying? But hey, sin: It’s not logical, my man. It’s just not logical.”

I want to look at the first five words of this quote. “It seems like, TO ME”. In the fourth and fifth words he is making it clear that it is HIS opinion. He gets his opinion from his belief in God and what the bible says. Others may get a different opinion but this is his opinion and he states that it is in his first five words.

There is another quote in the article: “We never, ever judge someone on who’s going to heaven, hell. That’s the Almighty’s job. We just love ’em, give ’em the good news about Jesus—whether they’re homosexuals, drunks, terrorists. We let God sort ’em out later, you see what I’m saying?”

There isn’t one place in the article with all of the quotes by Phil Robertson or even the others in the family where they condemn homosexuals or anyone else to hell.

So the gay group GLAAD came out with their quote the day that the article was published. "Phil and his family claim to be Christian, but Phil's lies about an entire community fly in the face of what true Christians believe. He clearly knows nothing about gay people or the majority of Louisianans — and Americans — who support legal recognition for loving and committed gay and lesbian couples. Phil's decision to push vile and extreme stereotypes is a stain on A&E and his sponsors who now need to reexamine their ties to someone with such public disdain for LGBT people and families."

Someone please tell me where are the lies? Is the lie where he says “we just love em”?  Was his description of a gay mans activities wrong? If his description of their activities is correct, shouldn’t GLAAD be embarrassed for calling their own activities “vile and extreme?  If we compare the truthfulness between Robertsons quote and GLAADs quote, the lie appears to be coming from GLAAD. Their quote is “He clearly knows nothing about gay people or the majority of Louisianans-and Americans-who support legal recognition for loving and committed gay and lesbian couples.” 

Louisiana has a constitutional ban on gay marriages. I believe it’s up to 34 states now where the people have voted against gay marriages. Some are being overturned by the courts, but the people have voted against it. So if we’re going to start calling things lies or truths, I believe that GLAAD has stated the lies, not Robertson.

GLAAD immediately called on A&E (the cable network carrying Duck Dynasty) to condemn Robertsons remarks. Later that same day, A&E complied and then expressed their own opinion of the issue.

“We are extremely disappointed to have read Phil Robertson’s comments in GQ, which are based on his own personal beliefs and are not reflected in the series Duck Dynasty. His personal views in no way reflect those of A+E Networks, who have always been strong supporters and champions of the LGBT community. The network has placed Phil under hiatus from filming indefinitely.”

A&E then went a step further and suspended Robertson indefinitely. As I understand it, A&E is less than truthful in their statement as they say that Robertson’s beliefs are not reflected in the series Duck Dynasty. From all that I’ve read, they pray on the show, they give Christian values on the show. So their views are reflected in the series.

One more quote for you.

That is from the Constitution. It says that Congress shall make no law, and so far they haven’t made a law against the free exercise of religion nor abridging freedom of speech. However, it seems that A&E is perfectly willing to prevent freedom of speech and freedom of religion and most importantly using your freedom of speech to share your beliefs of your religion or your views on other topics, but in condemning Robertson for expressing his views, they offer a differing view. In other words, they are suspending Robertson giving their views in announcing the suspension for Robertson expressing his views that they admit they don’t agree with.

John Podesta, on the very same day that the GQ article was published with Robertsons quote, said that “Republicans are a cult worthy of Jonestown”. He apologized for stating his beliefs and all is well with him.

Robertson has not apologized for his views and I’m glad (no pun intended) of that. So far, he has stood up for himself. Something we rarely see any longer.

I still have no intention of watching Duck Dynasty. But I’m glad it’s out there. If they are stating Christian values, that is something I wish my children would watch rather than the crap that’s out there on television and in movie theaters.

I hope that the Robertsons find a way to resolve this without it turning into a huge battle or angry words in public. So far, they don’t seem to be throwing darts back at their detractors. It appears as though they are being the one set of adults in the room.

By the way, when I was a child, westerns were big on television. We used to play cowboys and Indians in the back yard with mock fights and shootouts and we even had our own toy holsters and toy guns. I also remember in grade school doing a Christmas program where we sang Silent Night and Coming round the mountain. Nobody edited it out and they even said “Merry Christmas” to each other at the end of the program and nobody got offended.

With the backlash that GLAAD is getting from this, which is the first time that I can think of that happening, I’m glad this happened and maybe it will be the catalyst for everyone minding their own business and allowing others to have their own beliefs without being scorned or scolded by others. I’d rather have the Robertsons as role models for my kids than GLAAD or A&E and if that offends any of you, then feel free to fill out the complaint box. You can find it on any liberal website you look at.

Democrats Running from Democrat Foolishness

There are reports all over about how Democrats are trying to distance themselves from the Affordable Care Act (ACA…or ObamaCare) debacle. They can’t. Another thing they can’t do is talk about bi-partisanship and they should be called out on it each time they try!

They are all now trying to figure out a way to save Obamacare. To find a way to make a failed plan work. Not because they are concerned about people losing their jobs but because they are worried about losing THEIR jobs! They were warned.

During the debate (and I use that term loosely) the arguments against it were that it would cost jobs. Hours would be cut back because employers, businesses, would have to cut costs to pay for it. Since they could only avoid it by cutting workers hours down to 29 hours per week, that’s what would happen. And it’s happening.

The Democrats were also warned that costs for the government insurance would be more expensive. And it’s happening.

All of these things and more were stated before the plan was even voted on. Remember Nancy Pelosi, then Speaker of House, giving the answer to some of these? “We have to pass the plan to see what’s in it.”

There is another consequence of this plan. To qualify for subsidies in helping people pay for the government insurance their income must not exceed a certain amount. Those that are earning more but want the subsidy rather than pay the full freight will just lower their income by not working as much or cutting back on their production in their business. When did this country ever stand for doing less than your best? That’s what government health care is doing.

President Obama has been caught lying about this plan. If you want to keep your plan, you can keep it. If you like your doctor you can keep him. Now we know that’s not true.

I write these things as a way for me to vent and if someone wants to comment, I like it and maybe someone will even be enlightened by something I write or maybe I’ll be enlightened by someone’s comments. But what I do for a living is that I’m an insurance agent. Yep. Health care, among other things. I have to pay a fee to the government to be licensed to do health care and life insurance and others. I’m bound by ethics and must not make false and misleading statements. Is President Obama licensed? He’s obviously not bound by ethics and he’s not held to account for making false and misleading statements.

Remember how this law came about. The Democrat controlled House passed the law. It went to the Democrat controlled Senate. They would have made changes to it, which would then require 60 votes to pass it and then it would go to conference. Senator Arlen Specter changed parties giving the Democrats the 60 votes they needed. However Senator Ted Kennedy died and Scott Brown ran as the 41^st vote to defeat Obamacare and he won his election.

The only way that they could pass it then would be to pass the House bill as written. No changes to it whatsoever. That’s exactly what they did! This law was completely done by Democrats. Not one Republican voted for it. What I haven’t mentioned yet, is that 68% of the people at the time did not want this plan.

For those of you in Michigan, we have an election coming up next year for Governor. As it stands now, it will be Governor Snyder against Mark Schauer. Mark Schauer I’m very familiar with. My representative where I live was Tim Wahlberg in 2008. But in that election, the Democrats took control of Congress and Tim Wahlberg was defeated by Mark Schauer. Mark Schauer voted for Obamacare and in the next election in 2010, Tim Wahlberg won  back the seat he’d lost to Mark Schauer.

I can also tell you that Mark Schauer is not a truthful person. He was caught blatantly lying several times. I heard some of them on a radio program I listen to and I attended two of his Town Hall meetings back when they held town hall meetings in person before they figured out that people actually had the nerve to tell them face to face that they haven’t got a clue what we really expect.

I would also remind everyone about Representative Joe Wilson. During an address to Congress by President Obama, Wilson is the Representative that shouted out “You lie”. Now it’s known that Wilson was speaking the truth, even if it was in an inappropriate setting.

Obama just held a press conference. His answer for the problem of policies being cancelled is another big government heavy boot. They are now forcing insurance companies to not cancel those insurance plans. Government orders are being fixed with more Government orders. I’m finding it hard to see where there is anymore freedom.

Obama has been called the Messiah in some corners. Let me ask you this. Did Jesus ever lie to you?

Below, I have listed all in the House that voted for and against Obamacare. Some will surprise you. What shouldn’t surprise you is that not one Repubican voted for Obamacare. This is not bi-partisan. This is an entire Democrat fiasco. Those Democrats now are running away from it because they are up for re-election. The Democrats took over the Government and orchestrated the takeover of the American health care system. It was the best in the world even with it’s flaws. Now it’s made this country look like a joke.
